Spicebound was created out of an idea for a practice project to help Mara, the founder, learn more about AI and dip her toe into using no-code coding tools.

Alas, it was too good an idea to keep sequestered as a mere practice project.

Born out of her personal passion for spicy romantasy books and the tireless search for the juicy details she needed to know in order to qualify a book as an addition to her TBR list, Mara decided to test the abilities of AI to generate these details she's previously had to hunt down into a quickly generated "book slip" which she could then decide whether or not to add to her TBR list from there.

Spicebound is still in it's early days and is a self-funded independent passion project. Kinks are being worked out and future iterations are being planned to make it an even better product. All feedback and support through subscriptions are extremely appreciated!
